Improve your posture! Have you had that nagging feeling that your posture is out of alignment? Thinking of that old motherly saying, “Stand up straight, fix your posture!” In this workshop, the basics of posture will be covered, including how to apply it to an everyday routine. You will learn why posture is important and how it may play a role in common pains you may have in your body. Common causes of bad posture will be addressed along with exercises to help combat them. The workshop contains a 30-minute flow to warm up the muscles and develop awareness in common poor posture areas of the body. Following this, are separate segments discussing posture and common alignment points. There will be an opportunity to view other people’s postures to grow your own knowledge.
What you’ll receive: You will receive exclusive access to the exercises, a worksheet to following along with and create your own exercise routine, and a powerpoint presentation to follow along with. Answers to any questions you might have about your own posture. You will also have the option to send me photos of your own posture and have me do a quick analysis.
